Former Citigroup executive tapped to drive growth and financial strategy as Rendezvous scales orbital infrastructure operations. 

GOLDEN, Colo., November 12, 2025 — Rendezvous Robotics, the company building scalable, adaptive infrastructure in orbit, today announced the appointment of Sean Rogers as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Rogers brings more than 25 years of experience in global finance, capital markets, and strategy.  As CFO, he will oversee financial operations and business strategy as the company advances toward commercial deployment of its autonomous in-space assembly systems. 

The appointment follows Rendezvous’ recently announced partnership with Starcloud, focused on enabling large-scale data centers in orbit — a milestone that drew widespread attention across the space and technology industries. Together, the two announcements reflect the company’s accelerating momentum and leadership in building scalable, adaptable infrastructure beyond Earth.

Rogers previously served as Managing Director and Global Head of Technology Strategy & Solutions at Citigroup, advising companies across all sectors on technology disruption, capital formation, and M&A. Earlier in his career, he held senior investment banking roles at both Citi and BofA Securities, working in New York, London, and Palo Alto with clients ranging from startups to global enterprises. He has also held executive leadership roles in private investment, guiding portfolio companies through transformation and growth.
